Encounter is a 30-day devotional guide that helps people experience God through personal retreat.

The first 15 days focus on the Psalms of Ascent (Psalms 120-134). The tone is compassionate and introspective which makes the devotionals accessible for people who have felt distant from God. There are helps along the way for planning personal retreats (half day, whole day. or overnight). The middle section is a feast of activities and experiences to tap into while on your retreat. Each person can craft their own "menu" for how they will encounter God. Many have said they will make this a yearly tradition, trying new things each time they go away with God.

The last 15 days are devotionals about integrating insights from the time away into the real world. They feature devotionals based on Dr. David Pocta's research on spiritual wilderness.
